Accessibility statement

Scope and legal basis

morecon GmbH is committed to making the website repaircon.de, including the marketplace, accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG), which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act). The benchmarks for implementation are the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with the requirements referred to above. The assessment is based on a self-evaluation (as of October 2026) with automated checks and tests using the keyboard, zoom and narrow screens. The content listed under “Known limitations” is not yet fully accessible.

Measures implemented

• Full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus indicator and a skip link to the content, including in the menu, sliders, dialogs and cookie banner
• Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, a correct heading hierarchy and labeled form fields
• Forms (exhibitor inquiry, marketplace) with marked required fields and error messages that lead to the first invalid field; photos for a listing can also be selected using the keyboard
• Color contrast at WCAG level AA for text and controls
• Alternative text for informative graphics and photos
• The automatically running logo carousel can be paused at any time via a button (it runs at reduced speed when the “reduce motion” system setting is active); all other animations end after a few seconds and are turned off entirely with “reduce motion”
• No time limits, no auto-playing audio, no flashing content
• Responsive layout supporting text enlargement up to 200% and zoom

Known limitations

• Videos: the trailer on the home page is embedded and only loads from YouTube after you click it; aftermovies and keynote recordings are linked to YouTube. Some videos come from third parties; not all offer captions or audio description.
• Exhibitor and partner logos: these graphics are provided by the respective companies and are described only with the company name as alternative text.
• Marketplace: listing texts and photos come from the users who post them. Photos are described only in general terms, by their number and the listing title.
• External services: ticket sales run via the external provider ticket.io. For directions, we link to Google Maps, and for videos, to YouTube. We have no influence on the accessibility of these services.
• Photography: impressions from past events carry general rather than detailed image descriptions.

We are working to reduce these limitations step by step.
