Accessibility statement

Scope and legal basis

morecon GmbH is committed to making the website repaircon.de accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG), which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act). The benchmarks for implementation are the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with the requirements referred to above. The assessment is based on a self-evaluation (as of July 2026). The content listed under “Known limitations” is not yet fully accessible.

Measures implemented

• Full keyboard operability with a clearly visible focus indicator and a skip link to the content
• Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, a correct heading hierarchy and labeled form fields
• Color contrast at WCAG level AA for text and controls
• Alternative text for informative graphics and photos
• The automatically running logo carousel can be paused at any time via a button (it runs at reduced speed when the “reduce motion” system setting is active); all other animations fully respect “reduce motion”
• No time limits, no auto-playing audio, no flashing content
• Responsive layout supporting text enlargement up to 200% and zoom

Known limitations

• Videos: embedded YouTube videos (trailer, keynote recordings) partly originate from third parties; not all offer subtitles or audio description.
• Exhibitor and partner logos: these graphics are provided by the respective companies and are described only with the company name as alternative text.
• External services: ticket sales run via the external provider ticket.io, the travel map via Google Maps. We have no influence on the accessibility of these services.
• Photography: impressions from past events carry general rather than detailed image descriptions.

We are working to reduce these limitations step by step.
